Decided to drop my case for no reason.

She didn't try to even contact me.I went into the office with all the paperwork it took me a month to get only,to get turned away. Now I have to start the whole process over with someone different. She could have at least called me. Highly unprofessional. I don't recommend her.

Mother of two

I hired Debroah for a child custody case. When I had my consultation she seemed very confident and promised there would be changes in my favor and also said I had a very good case. Well once she took my $2500 plus $30 for consultation her attitude changed! She told me she would fight in court but on...ce it came down to it thats when I seen she was intimidated and a coward .I highly DO NOT recommend her. I am a mother of two fighting for my kids. I have a clean background ,stable home and job nor do I use drugs. I divorced my ex husband bc he was on drugs and abusive which I had proof of both and she still choked in court and only wanted me to settle for some bs . Since we couldn't come to an agreement (my x and I) judge order another trial date . A few days later I got a letter in the mail saying debrah dropped my case. IF YOU WANT TO WIN AND FIGHT FOR WHATS RIGHT THEN TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE BECAUSE ALL DEBROAH WILL DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY!

All about the money and gets u in and wants more, does not know the law.

She over charged ,did not do what she said . Then she took case and then come back and wanted more money . I felt she was not for me and my child she was there for the money .Deborah Dinsmore lost my file and friend found part of my file at public place . With kids drawing on it .

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
