John Totten is an excellent family law attorney. From the start, he was knowledgeable, straightforward, and professional. Mr. Totten was suggested by another attorney, he took my case in a rush, with only two weeks to prepare. He asked me what I wanted. and let me know upfront what he believed I could get, he was very attentive to the case. I hired Mr. Totten over 4 years ago for my divorce and came to him with a more than difficult divorce. Difficult is an understatement because there were many odds against me. I was a mess. He and Bridget always listened to me, calmed me, explained everything more than once, and believed in me even wh...en I didn’t believe in myself. They became part of my family. Mr. Totten took this difficult case that took over 4 years to complete and never gave up!!! We made probably a dozen court appearances and he was always organized, very professional in all ways, very prepared and very knowledgeable of the law. I came to Mr. Totten for representation in my divorce. My now ex and I had a 4yr old son together, so this I knew would be an issue seeing as though I was fighting for custody.
