While at Cumberland, he served as the President of the Federalist Society, a Senior Member of the Trial Board, competed on the Mediation Team, and made Dean’s List every semester. Nelson was admitted to practice in Georgia in 2019 and Alabama in 2020.
As an Alabama native, when Nelson in not cheering for the Crimson Tide, he spends his free time with his wife and friends going hiking, fishing, or camping.
