Greg's family has been a part of Alabama since the 1820's. He grew up playing baseball and working on the family farm. Bailing hay in the hot Alabama summers inspired Greg to keep studying. He attended the University of Alabama and finished with a degree from the College of Commerce in International Finance and a minor in Spanish. He then attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and received a Masters in Public Policy. He worked in the Latin America and the Caribbean region for seven years for a Fortune 500 company. Greg has visited four of the seven continents of the world, and speaks Spanish with a Southern accent. After meeting his wife, who is a lawyer, and losing all arguments, he attended the University of Alabama law school. Greg lives and attends Church in Birmingham with his wife and daughter, who is in middle school. Greg enjoys tasty food, especially if homemade.
