I was rear ended while sitting still at a traffic light. I went to the emergency room and ended up missing 3 weeks work as a result. I contacted Guster Law Firm. A attorney came to my home the very next day. The good part is that they referred me to therapy to help me recover faster. I lost 3 weeks w...ages as my employer did not cover my wages while out. The bad part is that this rookie attorney assigned to my case did not fight and felt that I really did not have to be compensated for my lost wages even when the at fault driver's insurance accepted liability from the beginning. Listening to my attorney speak, I almost felt like he was representing the insurance company and not me. And to top it off, he negotiated a low ball settlement that barely covered my medical expenses and lost wages. I feel like they were in it for a quick dollar to their pockets and did not care about my concerns or needs. I feel like I could have dealt with the insurance company myself and done better by not having to pay their fees for just paper chasing.In the end the firm had the nerves to withhold payment to mefor over 10 days so they could collect interest on the peanuts settlement that they negotiated. Terrible service!
