When the municipal officer arrived, client was disoriented, smelled of alcohol and admitted to having consumed ... alcohol. Client's speech was slurred. Officer arrested client for DUI. Client registered .19g/210L on the breath test. Upon pre-trial negotiations with the City, an agreement was reached wherein client's DUI charge will be dismissed. Therefore, client will avoid the requirement of an Ignition Interlock Device and other harsh penalties.

A citizen complain was made that client was passed out in his vehicle. Upon responding to the 911 complain, a municipal officer witnessed client slapping himself in the face as an attempt to wake up. ... Officer approached client's vehicle and ordered him to exit. Client was confused and unsteady upon exiting. After a roadside sobriety investigation, the officer arrested client for DUI-Any Substance. An inventory search of the vehicle produced a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Client was charged with DUI, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Upon pre-trial negotiations with the City, the City dismissed the DUI charge and agreed to a dismissal agreement on the Possession of Marijuana.

Client was arrested for DUI and cited for Improper Lane Usage. Client registered a .19g/210L on the breath test, more than twice the legal limit. If convicted, client faced the imposition of an ignition interlock for two years along with significant other consequences from the court. Upon pre-trial negotiations with the City, attorney reached an agreement wherein the City agreed to dismiss the DUI charge. Client was able to avoid the serious consequences of the court and avoided having to have an ignition interlock installed.

Client was on probation for felony/yo drug charges. During her probationary period, she was arrested for a misdemeanor offense and the State filed a motion to revoke her probation. The court issued a ... warrant and a no-bond. Attorney was able to have client released from custody and placed on bond while her probation violation was litigated. Upon litigation and negotiations with the State, attorney was able to reach an agreement wherein the probation revocation charge was dismissed. Client was facing 3 years of incarceration had her probation been revoked.
