Shane Smith received his B.A. In Psychology from a Auburn University in 1998, his M.S. in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2002, and his J.D. from Birmingham School of a Law in 2006.
Mr. Smith's practice is devoted to divorce and family law and to assisting and representing individuals in complex matrimonial matters, including those with personal or business assets and custody disputes. Formerly a staff attorney with Legal Services Alabama and an attorney in private practice, Mr. Smith has 10 years of experience in domestic relations, domestic abuse, Protection from Abuse, child custody, and paternity and child support issues. Mr. Smith also handles criminal and complex civil litigation arising from matrimonial matters and has received extensive training as a mediator and as a parenting coordinator.
