When a family member encountered a problem with their mortgage lender, I searched the internet for some advice applicable to the situation. I found the Watts & Herring website, and the many exceptionally informative articles and videos that Mr. Watts has developed. He has, obviously, put a tremen...dous amount of time and effort towards educating us about the perils and pitfalls one may encounter in dealing with some lenders, as well as rights and remedies available to us. The gut feeling I developed was that "this is a guy who really does wants to help others". No kidding - this is not a paid political advertisement - that was exactly my feeling. My feeling was reinforced after calling his office and discussing the situation troubling me with Carolyn. She was warm and welcoming, provided me with helpful information, and then brought the matter to Mr. Watts’ attention in case further action was necessary. Would you like to know what John Watts' firm didn’t do? They did not tell me “sure, you need to retain us, sign this contract with us right away”. In fact, they didn’t charge me a dime for the help provided. If I should need to go further with this situation, there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever to whom I would turn - John Watts. A legal battle would not be fun, but I’d sleep a lot better knowing Mr Watts was leading us through it.

December 2015 Received a letter in the mail stating I was being sued for $30,000. A few days later I got another letter from Mr. John Watts, saying he would like to talk with me about what options were available to me. I found Mr. John Watts on YouTube. I was laid off from my job of 15 years and it took several months for me to find a new job. I was being sued for a credit card debt that should have been covered by a sick and accident insurance, which the credit card company denied. Mr Watts is not only a great attorney, he is a great, down to earth , kind hearted man! He went above and beyond what is required to show these collectors they... are wrong. But not only Mr Watts, but his complete staff goes out of their way to help you and make you feel like they are part of your family. Some things I wasn't so great on downloading on my email, so they helped with it and sent links that my smartphone would open for me!
