Thank you John and Staff...Simply Outstanding

My sister and I were involved in a legal matter in the state of Alabama. We both reside in different states outside of Alabama, so we had the dilemma of finding an attorney licensed in the state of Alabama. After reading several reviews from clients, we decided to step out on faith and contacted Jo...hn Watts. John and his staff understood our situation and created for us a sense of trust. He reviewed our legal documents and made recommendations based on our personal circumstances. He was patient with us and ensured we had a complete understanding of the process. John was able to bring closure to the matter in a reasonable timeframe with positive results. I would highly recommend John Watts to anyone seeking legal representation.

Lifesaver

John Watts was a lifesaver for me, when I was drowning in a sea of despair and fear. I was so intimidated by the creditors, I didn't know what to do, and I didn't no where to turn. He and his team assured me they would handle it. To my surprise and happiness Mr. Watts and team resolved the issue. T...hank you Mr. Watts for helping me breathe again.

Just a question

I called reguarding a garnishment that I have that has been going on for a while. I was immediately put a the phone with aomeone who looked into my case and went over my options. She tried her hardest and found a possible solution for me even though she didnt have to. I wish I would have found them ...sooner!

About finding us sooner -- lots of things I wish I had figured out earlier. :) What's the old saying, "The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is today." True! Important thing is we take action now which is exactly what you did. Thanks for contacting us and thank you for proving us feedback -- we appreciate it! John Watts

Stressed for 2 Years!

When I got served notice that I was being sued by a debt buyer 2 years ago, it felt like the end of the world. Immediately I started doing my research to figure out how to handle this. It was Circuit Court so I quickly learned this was a much more serious and involved process. I contacted John ear...ly on and he was very professional and explained the process to me. He told me what my options were. However, I still thought I could handle this as a Pro Se defendant. I did everything that was required through the process. The trial date was finally set almost 2 years after the complaint was filed. Still thinking I could handle this, the closer to the trial date, the more nervous and stressed out I was getting. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and a few days before my trial date, I contacted John again. He was my last hope. I really didn't expect him to entertain my questions again, 2 years later, but he did. The trial date was now only a couple days away and I thought there was no way he would agree to represent me on such short notice. I was wrong, again. He did! He got to work right away on my case. Very professional and at the same time, compassionate and understanding on what I was going through. My case was ultimately settled before we even went to trail (just hours before trial). I have never in my life felt such relief as I did when he told me it had been settled. I said all of that to say this; if you are planning to defend your case Pro Se, please take into consideration and be prepared to deal with all the stress that something like this will cause. John and Carolyn were there for me when I couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel. John and Carolyn, Thank You so much for your help and caring.

Jeffery, Thank you for the detailed review -- we appreciate it very much! What you describe is real life -- sometimes part of the reason to hire a lawyer is to take away the stress. I recently struggled and struggled to fix a plumbing problem. Cost me a lot of money trying to do it myself -- called a plumber and he commented how he loved very simple and easy jobs like this. :) Sometimes handling a case on your own (self represented or "pro se") is the way to go but other times it is better to hire someone. Best way to figure this out is to contact a lawyer that you have confidence in to help you go through your options. I'm glad you took the chance to reach out to us again right before trial -- and very happy we had a great success in your case. You stood strong -- refused to pay these guys any money -- and wonderful things happened. That took great courage on your part. The old line about courage -- not the absence of fear but acting in spite of the fear. You were right to be concerned about the trial -- it is a big deal. But you kept fighting and thank you for letting us help you. Appreciate the feedback and best wishes!! John Watts
