Unethical Professional behavior

I would not recommend the group of lawyers lead by Mr Watts. They purposely lead both my wife and i on and were totally not responsive concerning our case. This went on for close to 2 years and they finally dropped our case when e went to the Alabama Bar to complain. Of course this was 7 days before ...the statute of limitations is met and ends any hope of resolution. The lawyers were unresponsive, to busy, out of town etc etc every time we sent them information. I guess our case was not good enough for their pocket books. If this represents the legal community in Birmingham and Alabama no wonder the State is in trouble and considered backwards.

I'm sorry your experience with us was not what you expected. While I can't answer the details that you have laid out, as that is protected by the attorney client privilege, I will say I appreciate you giving us your feedback. We are constantly evaluating whether we are doing things in the best possible way and that includes our communication. Feedback helps us to improve so we do a better job. We have made changes to our process to make sure we are communicating more frequently with our clients and even with folks who have not hired us but who are talking with us about potentially representing them. Great Lawyer

I want to say upon getting a judgement against me I contacted Mr Watts office. He was so helpful with the advice that he gave to me before I had even hired him. I did do as he said and he then went to work for me. It did not take long before the case against me was dismissed and the judgement removed.... I can't Thank Mr Watts and his Staff (Particularly Melissia Pierce) for their prompt and very helpful work!!! Thanks Again Guys , Great Job!!!!

Very knowledgeable when it come to Medicaid and VA benefits!

I contacted Mr. Watt because I needed help with Medicaid for Nursing Home advice for my grandmother. His advice was very helpful and timely. Now my mother is in need of help with survivors VA benefits . Mr. Watts has been very helpful in guiding us through the maze of information and procedures need...ed to qualify for VA benefits for surviving spouse. Thank you

Lawsuit Settled in 7 Days

After being hounded for 3 years and then sued buy a debt buyer. I call John Watts. He made no promises he did not keep. My lawsuit was settled in 7 Days of hiring Mr. Watts. That's got to be a record. If you need help with a debt buyer, Call him NOW. Thank You John for all your help

Thanks Sam for your feedback! We can't always make these lawsuits go away that fast but sometimes we can. We simply give the debt buyer/debt collector a simple choice -- completely up to them -- settle for no money and we won't sue or let's go try the case. Almost always they settle -- sometimes right away and sometimes before trial. And if they don't, no problem -- we go to trial. John is EXCELLENT, get your peace of mind back!!!

My review is lengthy but I want people to know if you find yourself in a situation like mine, there is help. I received a letter in the mail I was being sued by a debt collector. My heart just sank when I read what was happening. I went through many sleepless nights wondering what to do and how I ...would get myself out of the situation. There were letters from lawyers in my mailbox offering help and I started to call them for help but I thought it was strange they knew what was happening to me. I thought could this be a scam? I decided to search on Google the contents of my collection letter and Attorney John Watts website came up with all the information I was looking for. I started reading everything he had listed and even did a YouTube search on him and found much more information. After my research, I decided to fill out the Contact Info form on Attorney Watts website. I was contacted by John with 1 hour!!!! Attorney John Watts and I had a phone call that afternoon and discussed my situation and I cannot tell you how relieved I was after our conversation. I felt like a ton of bricks were lifted off my shoulders!! We ended the phone call with a plan and I actually felt positive for the first time in a long time. I’ve never worried about my case, John and his staff always sent me updates to make sure I knew everything that was happening with my case. I’m happy to say it was a positive outcome and I’m very relieved all of this is over! I would recommend John to anyone. He is so willing to help you in any way he can. He treats you like a friend, not like a client.

JP, Thank you for sharing your experience in your review. What you described about the fear and sleepless nights -- that's exactly what these debt buyers want you to experience so that you feel it is all hopeless and you give up. I'm so glad you did not do that but instead investigated your options. We never want someone to take anything on blind faith but instead to discovery your options by investigating and doing your due diligence. We do our best to update our clients frequently and it is nice to know that this was helpful to you.
