Mr. Parkman had no trouble taking my money. He absolutely blew my case and my defense. He collected tens of thousands of dollars and I had to hire another attorney to get the job done I can't believe that this man still has a license. He never followed through on any of his promises to me. He is highly inflammatory and clearly violated his fiduciary duty to me. Based on my experience with Mr. Parkman, I implore others to not hire him.
I paid ten's of thousands of dollars to this man for him to represent us in a criminal proceeding. Instead of him being there for most of the hearings that took place he sent his junior and very inexperienced attorney that worked for him. His junior attorney did basically nothing during the whole process, he would just show up and give little to no representation. The only times Parkman himself was present was during the pre-trial and finally at the end when we were forced to plead guilty to charges and accept an unfavorable outcome. He was also impossible to talk to when you wanted to speak to him. I would call and they always put me in touch with his junior attorney that was very inexperienced. I would never again hire this man!
JIM PARKMAN, co-founding partner of Parkman & White, LLC, offers an incredible background of experience in successfully defending high-profile clients on charges ranging from white collar crime to public corruption to murder. Mr. Parkman has handled cases including a high-level health services executive accused of accounting fraud, a powerful Swedish businessman charged with embezzlement, a former mayor of Detroit in connection with public corruption charges, and an Alabama state senator accused of bribery, conspiracy, and money laundering charges. In addition to white-collar crimes, Mr. Parkman has successfully defended countless federal drug and weapons offenses, as well as allegations of homicide, arson, and burglary.
Perhaps Mr. Parkman’s most astonishing courtroom victory came in late 2004, when his client, former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy, was acquitted of each of 36 counts of fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, and making false statements under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty the charges, which related to over $2.7 billion in accounting fraud. As lead counsel in the case, Mr. Parkman represented perhaps the only known executive ever to be acquitted of charges of accounting fraud under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
As Mr. Parkman will tell you, he doesn’t do it alone. The attorneys at Parkman & White employ a unique team approach to each case they handle, facilitated by a low-volume and selective practice, which allows them to maximize the impact of strategic trial decisions and their combined areas of specialized expertise. Proclaimed by Fox News’ Neil Cavuto to be the “Greatest Lawyer on the Planet,” Mr. Parkman was named to The Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association and is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I enthusiastically endorse this lawyer.
He is by far the most talented and hard working trial attorney I have ever worked with. He is also a member of that elite group of criminal defense attorneys who has won far more criminal trials than he has lost. His cases have made major media headlines and he wins, seemingly every time.
I have seen the U.S. Attorney's office file motions to separate his client from the other co defendants simply to keep James Parkman away from their jury. One need only research him online to discover the litany of high profile victories in his collection of pelts."

"Jim is the best attorney in front of a jury I've ever seen. He also has the uncanny ability of taking complex legal issues and explaining them to a jury, so that the jury can understand. If you have a criminal jury trial in your future, you should consider discussing your case with Jim before deciding on an attorney."
