Now my son has a chance

My son's school was determined to remove him anyway possible, and was treating him very badly. They did many underhanded things to him and us. I was given no choice but to look for the best lawyer possible and found Mrs. Mattison. She impressed me with her background, knowledge of the education laws,... civil rights laws, and her willingness to fight for children and make sure my son had a voice. She fixed things and did not give in one bit. I am still in shock at her ability to swiftly take on a school system and win. I doubt very seriously my son will have anymore problems with the school. We will always be thankful to Deborah for making sure my son will get his education . I was very lucky to have found her and will not hesitate to contact her again if the school steps out of line in the future. She will never know how thankful we really are .

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
