Alex James Chaney

My wife and I hired alex to represent us in a custody and criminal case. He would always tell us he was going to do this or do that and it never happened. He also went 6 months without a call or even returning our calls. My wife called several times a week, sent emails and still no response! We both ...paid a retainer that he said was "non refundable " and refused to give me an expense report on my criminal case as to what exactly my money was spent on. He was our attorney for a year and did NOTHING but file continances on the custody case! We needed up having to fire him and hire an attorney that would actually do what he is hired to do! And when we fired him he contacted us more then, then he ever did the whole year he was our attorney! That is very poor work ethics and he caused more harm to both of our cases than good.. it's sad how most not all attorneys are just worried about the money and not trying to do what is right for people, families and most important CHILDREN!
