I am so grateful! Thank you Joshua Deckard!
My daughter's criminal felony case was complicated and could have many outcomes. Mr. Deckard worked very diligently to get the best possible outcome (although hard to obtain). His knowledge of law, extensive experience, fairness, hard work and most importantly his compassionate and caring character m...

Unable to get correct charge
We hired Mr. Deckard when our son was arrested for attempt to purchase. The police paper work said "solicitation to sell". This was not the proper charge. Mr. Deckard told us it was the same thing. We hired another attorney and the charge was changed by the end of the day and we were finally able...
Due to attorney client privilege, I am unable to answer this complaint in a way that properly describes the months of my hard work on behalf of this client. This is a case involving a client who was properly charged, but who simply did not agree with the wording of the charge as written by the Florida Legislature. It was the client who requested multiple postponements of the case. To satisfy the client, I risked my reputation with the court to obtain the delays that were requested each month. I refused to desert this client and permit the client to suffer the wrath of the court. Even though this client was properly charged by the prosecutor for his crime and even in the absence of legal authority to force the prosecutor to change the charge, I worked diligently to persuade the prosecutor to change the wording of the charge in an attempt to satisfy the client. Rather than abandoning the client, I encouraged the client to consult with other counsel as the judge was forcing the client to bring this case to a conclusion, due to the ongoing delays, in a matter of a few days. In fact, this family was very pleased with the lengthy postponements that I achieved on their behalf. The final result did not occur over night with a newly retained attorney with little legal experience. It was a result achieved mostly through my hard and tireless work and in part to a prosecutor who just wanted, in the end, to help the court close a case. I have worked diligently over the years to establish a reputation of obtaining good results for individuals accused of crimes. A few of the good results are mentioned on this page, but most good results go unpublished since I don’t solicit positive postings. If you have taken the time to read this response, I encourage you to ask around the community of my reputation as an attorney and to visit my website to learn of my background and experience. I was the immediate past co-chairman of the Martin County Bar Association for three consecutive years, in addition to my admittance to the Florida Bar, I am admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court - Southern District and admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court. Defending an individual accused of a crime is a difficult job. I strive to achieve the best results for all of my clients in their difficult situations. The majority of my clients express their appreciation for their favorable and fair results. I trust that this dissatisfaction and disparagement of me does not deter you from speaking to me about your case or discourage you from inquiring for my help utilizing my reputation, experience and skills.

Much respect to Mr.Deckard and his amazing staff. When half the world felt I was guilty, Mr.Deckard knew I was innocent. Got my case dismissed in less than 2 weeks. The man knows his law. At the same time he knows what to say and how to say to that prosecutor. I would recommend this man 10×s more. If...
