Adrienne M. Bucchi was born in Trenton, NJ, and comes from a large Italian American family. After graduating high school in NJ, Adrienne moved to Ft. Lauderdale to attend college at Nova Southeastern University. In 1995, she graduated college with honors and earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a Women's Studies minor. Adrienne went on to graduate in the top 20% of her class at Nova Southeastern Law School in May 2000. While attending Law School she interned for the 17th Circuit Public Defender located in Broward County. In September of 2000, she started at the Broward County Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender.
Adrienne started her legal career defending juveniles charged with crimes. Within a year, she was promoted to a Felony position in the Felony Domestic Violence Division. She practiced in various felony courtrooms before moving to the Treasure Coast to start her family. In March 2003, Adrienne started at the 19th Circuit Public Defender's Office which covers Saint Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee and Martin Counties. While working for the 19th Circuit Public Defender, Adrienne was promoted to a felony supervisor position in Saint Lucie County in 2006. She was again promoted to the Head of Okeechobee County in 2007 and to the Head of Indian River County in 2008.
In October 2011, Adrienne made the decision to leave thePublic Defender's Office and started her ownlaw practice. Adrienne has represented thousands of people in multiple jurisdictions and has practiced in front of many different Judges throughout the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach Counties.
