Vincent D. Sowerby

Now accepting cases in both Georgia and Florida, Vincent D. Sowerby has had a general civil trial practice in Brunswick and southeast Georgia for over 39 years.  He does personal injury, insurance, family law (divorce, child support, adoption, etc.), commercial disputes, land line cases, construction defects, civil rights, collections, fraud, defamation, and pretty much anything that can end up in a courtroom.  Whether you want to sue or have been sued, he does all types of litigation.

He is admitted to all Georgia and Florida courts, United States Districts Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.  He graduated from Duke University in 1983 after spending his junior year abroad at a German University and from The University of Georgia School of Law in 1986.  He does not do bankruptcy, social security, real estate closings, DUI or other traffic cases. 

He closed his physical office in Brunswick, GA in January of 2023 and accepted a position as an associate attorney at Rooney & Rooney in Vero Beach.  He still accepts Georgia cases as well as Florida cases.
