WIN! Great Experience.

Mr. Smith as referred to me through a friend who’d had a very good experience working with him on his complicated divorce years ago. We looked him up and found that he’s been in practice over 20 years, and I thank my lucky stars everyday that I chose him for my case. Had it not been for his additional knowledge in estate law, and his wisdom and prowess in dealing with tough family dynamics, I’m not sure I would’ve made it out alive.

Ethical and Caring

Mr. Smith is the most ethical AND caring attorney I have ever met. During a time when I was struggling with a divorce after 25 years of marriage, his comforting demeanor made a painful process a lot more bearable. He was honest throughout the entire process, explaining in layman’s terms what he was confident would happen, and what would likely take place given the law and the things we cannot change. His performance was the best example of the Serenity Prayer in action that I’ve ever witnessed!

Knowledgeable, Reasonable, Affordable.

Attorney Smith is an excellent way to go for family law cases. He is intelligent, highly reputable, and affordable. I had nothing negative to say when he handled my divorce case for me. The case did take a bit longer than expected, but that was because the courts were closed most of the year due to Covid-19. His staff was courteous and supportive, which was nice because it was a very difficult time in my life. Calls and/or emails were returned quickly- often within 48 hours- which is rare to find someone to respond to your call or emails that quickly- if at all. They took the time to explain any questions I had with documents that I didn't and most people don't deal with on a daily basis and didn't always understand. and treated me like a person, not a file or a number. If I needed any future representation in family law, I would use this firm again.

Excellent attorney

I hired Jason for a custody case, I was counter sued for back child support that I already paid. My ex hired one of the most recommend attorneys in Newnan, his tactic was belittling and making fun of me and my receipts. His attempted intimidation made me realize how your attorney represents you, I was so glad I made the choice of class and wit versus childishness and bullying. I knew the moment Jason won the case for me, his questioning uncovered the manipulation taking place in the counterclaim. I would also like to add that when something in my case arose he called me and let me know. I found his rates more than fair and much lower than other attorneys in town. Hiring Jason was a very good decision and I would hire him again.

Excellent Attorney

Jason saved me from repaying $26,000.00 in child support. Jason cross examined with wit and class. His skillful ability to bring out the truth saved an unjust claim of nonpayment of child support. Years of unsuccessful court hearing with my ex-husband had my nerves on edge Monday morning as I wondered what my manipulative ex had in store. With ingenious questioning, Jason made all my nervousness melt away like an iceberg exposed to the brightest, hottest sun light. I knew redemption was on its way. I can not tell you how much I appreciate his class and style in the court room. The opposing attorneys tactic was to belittle and poke fun at me which in my opinion is childish. My attorney reprints me and is a reflection of how I wanted the court to see me and I was so glad I hired Jason. If you are looking for an attorney I recommend him highly.

Knows his stuff.

Excellent family lawyer. Personal attention. Returned calls. Great results.

I had a very difficult and complicated case. Mr. Smith kept me informed by returning calls. He even accomplished things for me that I had not thought possible. He helped me identify issues that I had not thought of recognized. He was a real God-send.

Save your money

Doesn't return calls, took the money, and basically ran. No fighting in court, every time you call the office you get an offsite answering service and the calls never get returned. Emails don't get returned. Awaiting his signature for the divorce. Going on a month now.

DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY

I hired him for a custody case. He filed the case for a divorce, I had already been divorced for 2 years at this point. Horrible communication. He didn't do any investigation for my case, showed up with nothing to court. Didn't even cross examine my ex. The judge threw out the case and I was out my time and thousands of dollars.

Disappointing

In December 2019 I paid my retainer to Mr Smith, which supposed to be a "flat rate" of $ 3500 , which he also documented his his book he gave me full of pride: " The Family Law Guideline". He recently asked for more money in order to work on my case. I was patient in my case with Mr Smith who didn't achieve anything other than reviewing my emails and filed one motion. I never saw my kid based on his effort sine December 2019. Than 2 weeks ago I changed to another lawyer ....and I have seen my kid and got results in 3 weeks time!!. My recommendation : read Mr Jasons book, which is very nice...and get another attorney if you want to move forward in your case.

Grandparents rights

Called over the phone and talked with him. Got rates ect made appt drove 5 hours to talk n was a FaceTime appt. wasn't told this , did paperwork. Paid him. And he was to help me get it's with my granddaughter. my son is married and the case was a cold one. At court after I ask to try n do one on one. He would say. They don't want this. we go to court. Judge didn't say yes or no. But explain the law then I had to pay their lawyers also. he wanted me to cont this and get full rights and go after them to the next level. I told him. I wasn't able to keep a 5year old full time I also ask for the hours he did work the case and never got these. I also found out he spoke with my son on this before we talked and he never told me of this. I haven't gotten anything from hm but the receipt from where I paid his cost
