For a few years, I had been ignoring the obvious until we coudn't ignore it or hide it any longer. We kept thinking business would pick up, blame it on 2008, a generally fool ourselves. We went in for our free consultation with all of our worst fears waiting to pounce on us. It was exactly the oppos...ite. While answering the 1062nd of our millions of questions, it dawned on me that I had not seen him look at his watch once. He was not clock watching and waiting to throw us out when our 30 minutes of " free " consultation ended. Life as we knew it was not over.
