We recently established our Florida home as our Primary residence and were not very familiar with Estate Planning. Attorney Herzog took the time to draw diagrams to completely review the process. Within one to two face-to face meetings in his office, the Wills and Trust were established along with ...the other legal documents. It was complicated by the fact we own homes in the different States and he worked with attorneys in those locations to establish Deeds that were ready to place in our Trust. He also helped with the transition of Bank accounts, Stocks and worked with Brokers, Financial Planners to see all were in compliance to be covered under our Trust. His staff were exceptional in working with us ti see things went smoothly .We especially appreciated the work of Jessica Smith, his Paralegal who worked on a daily basis very closely with us. Attorney Herzog is intelligent of the Law, a good listener, an excellent communicator, has a healthy sense of urgency, and does a good job in follow-up. While serving as Personal Representative for my late Aunt and Uncle, it became obvious something was very wrong with the way their affairs had been handled by someone they unfortunately trusted for help. I hired Attn. Herzog, who was able to take care of the more immediate need of an eviction (relate...d to this situation), and subsequently conduct a thorough discovery (with very few facts to start with) which uncovered serious financial elder abuse. I could not have navigated the process from discovery to eventual case moving to the State Attorney without the expertise, efficiency, action, and persistance of Mr. Herzog. The discovery, being of a financial nature, was painstaking and detailed; expertise in elder law was essential; knowledge of criminal law and it's nuances necessary; Mr. Herzog provided all this and more, as well as representing me in the estate's interest at numerous court hearings and pre-trial conferences. He was professional, candid, and quickly available throughout. I'm pleased to say we did find justice for my family and equally pleased to give Attn.
