Still trying to reach her after being mispresrnted I emailed her through her website Lets see if a get a response. Do not hire I see that several of her clients have the exact same issues I had with her. I am shocked she does not prove her practices. Do not hire. The positives reviews you see the ...clients got lucky .

I used her for a routine bankruptcy in 2005 - she seemed ok then. I found out recently there was an outstanding lien on my house title. I called her up to get it taken care of and spent MONTHS fruitlessly trying to get anything done. I offered to pay cash in advance, if that were a problem, and I was... assured it was not. Week after week after week I cal and cal and I get no response. I catch her asst. in the office (on the phone) and I was assured she had looked at the case and would act on it - never happened. I felt like a ditched girlfriend - they'll say anything to get you off the phone - then you'll never hear from them again. Bottom line, after months of attempting a remedy I get a TD letter from the lender.

I hired Ms. Armstrong to handle a Chapter 7 bankruptcy for me in 2007. I immediately started getting the run around when calling the office but gave the benefit of the doubt as I had paid her in full. When I realized that she had pushed me into a Chapter 13 because of her not filing the bankruptcy in... a timely fashion, I fired her as my attorney. She then called and assured me she would take care of me and we would have to wait until my income dropped in the future and then would file right away. For the next couple of years, my income did not drop. In 2009, I requested we file but she stated that she did not want to file because I was trying to work on a home modification loan and that the bank wouldn't work with me. So that brings us to 2011 when my bank account was garnished due to a creditor that had filed all the proper paperwork which was never responded to by Ms. Armstrong, And they are now going to start garnishing my wages at work. Ms. Armstrong then stated that because "I" had waited so long to file, I would need to repay her as she would have to start the bankruptcy all over again. I have since hired another attorney that informed me of the laws and disputed almost everything I had been told by Ms. Armstrong. I also found out that I have a judgment against my house because Ms. Armstrong filed a motion for extension and never followed up, leaving a judgment against me. Today is December 14, 2011 and I am now in the process of filing a bankruptcy which should have been taken care of 4 1/2 years ago. I would not recommend Ms. Armstrong in any fashion. We reviewed Angela last June as she was handling a chapter 13 case for us. After 3 months of no response, return phone calls, always sick, or a family emergency, I placed a review here. She then finally returned our phone calls said she didnt appreciate the review and "dropped" our case after we paid... in full, not just a retainer, so I resended the review and she still never did a thing about our case. We retained her in March of last year and still have not recieved an invoice of what our $1800 paid for. We have no protection, no jobs (my career requires good credit) and no more money to hire another attorney. We feel like we were taken advantage of.
