Angela Morton Armstrong

I used her for a routine bankruptcy in 2005 - she seemed ok then. I found out recently there was an outstanding lien on my house title. I called her up to get it taken care of and spent MONTHS fruitlessly trying to get anything done. I offered to pay cash in advance, if that were a problem, and I was... assured it was not. Week after week after week I cal and cal and I get no response. I catch her asst. in the office (on the phone) and I was assured she had looked at the case and would act on it - never happened. I felt like a ditched girlfriend - they'll say anything to get you off the phone - then you'll never hear from them again. Bottom line, after months of attempting a remedy I get a TD letter from the lender.

Like everyone knows, deciding to file bankruptcy is a very stressful time. My wife and I were very surprised at the caring and concern that Ms. Armstrong showed to us through out the entire process during this most difficult period in our lives. She also accepted payment arrangements on our fees and ...took all our creditor calls immediately. In our opinion, if she would have charged us twice what she did.........it still would have been a great deal. Unfortunately, we see a couple of negative reviews here and being that all cases are different and some much more complex than others, like ours...........we find it very hard to believe that Ms. Armstrong could be so effective in handling us, yet completely incompetent when dealing with someone like "charity" .??? In our opinion, perhaps she was looking for way too much charity from Armstrong PA. We would highly recommend using Angela...........and while we never expect to need her services again regarding bankruptcy, we will definitely use her for any real estate work we need in the future.

I was referred to Angela to get help on a laundry list of issues I had, like having to file bankruptcy and dealing with creditors, etc. I can see why she is busy because she does great work and she treats her clients well. The attorneys called and met with before her were just short and cold with m...e and left me more confused than when I went in there in the first place. She knows a lot and asked me a lot of questions, and we ended up finding the best way out of my situation for me. I just feel bad for people that need a good person like her to represent them and they end up having to work with someone else. I can see why she is busy.

I came to Angela a year ago for a foreclosure / credit card bill issue. She was very engaging and thorough. Unlike other attorneys she sat with me for 2 hours during the initial consultation. Her staff were friendly and informative. My case took a little while due to its complexity but Angela was... able to get me a successful discharge.

We reviewed Angela last June as she was handling a chapter 13 case for us. After 3 months of no response, return phone calls, always sick, or a family emergency, I placed a review here. She then finally returned our phone calls said she didnt appreciate the review and "dropped" our case after we paid... in full, not just a retainer, so I resended the review and she still never did a thing about our case. We retained her in March of last year and still have not recieved an invoice of what our $1800 paid for. We have no protection, no jobs (my career requires good credit) and no more money to hire another attorney. We feel like we were taken advantage of.
