About Audrey
Biography
I have been practicing law since 1991 and became licensed to practice in Florida in 1995. I have limited my practice to family law matters so I am able to provide my clients with focused advice and guidance. I strongly believe in the preservation of families whenever possible and make every effort to guide my clients to make choices that have the least negative impact on their children and themselves.
I practice family law because I think people are fascinating and complex; I love helping them. I try to remain cognizant that my clients are, perhaps, not at their best when they see me and that they need someone to guide them. They need to trust that thier attorney is not only on their side, but also is interested in thier long term well-being. I do not encourage clients to litigate and I make every effort to educate my clients so they do not persist in seeking unreasonable results. I know there are many, many other lawyers for my clients to choose and I am grateful when they place their trust and confidence in me.
On a personal level, my philosophy is that life is too short and there is too little time to take in the beauty of it all. Difficult times are experienced by all of us, universally, and we have no option other than to endure them and move forward. There is no other choice.

Attorney Jefferis is an excellent family law attorney.
My divorce was contested and seemed to go on forever. Attorney Jefferis did not back down to the ridiculous demands of my spouse. I trusted her explicitly and found her to be upfront, honest, and knowledgeable.
