Matthew Kenneth Mullinax

There are good attorneys… but unfortunately, Matt Mullinax is NOT one of them. I fired him today after he “represented” me for over a year and was completely incompetent! I was scheduled for a deposition that he didn’t bother to prepare for or to prepare me for and then gave me an excuse that he “had... been in mediation all afternoon”. The deposition was originally scheduled in October 2021!! So I’m not sure what being busy the afternoon before would have anything to do with it!! The day before, his partner, Gabe, was telling me to pur a large amount of documents together to use at the deposition- that would never have been seen by an attorney! Certainly not Matt! I fired him today after that. Unprofessional!! Inappropriate!! Incompetent!! Lazy!! And bottom-line- IF YOU WANT RESULTS, GO TO JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER ATTORNEY BUT MATT MULLINAX! Or I would offer to hire him - ON BEHALF OF THE DEFANDANT - as long as they agreed he would be their sole/lead attorney! **INCOMPETENCE ON DISPLAY** (The sign that should be hanging on his office door).

We suffered considerable damage during Hurricane Sally. The insurance company would not deal with our claim in good faith. Their adjuster created a very minimal report and undercut our damage by thousands. The office adjuster argued almost every item in the report. We were on the phone with them cons...tantly begging for what we thought we had purchased from them. After hearing about our experience, an acquaintance recommended attorney Matthew Mullinax. We will not deal with insurance by ourselves again. We will hire Mr. Mullinax very time.
