My client, the father, was named in a dependency petition, and faced allegations that he had abandoned his child. With the help of my client and his mother, we were able to provide evidence to the Dep ... artment of Children and Families that my client did not abandon his child, rather that the child was taken from him by the maternal grandparents and hidden from him.
