My situation was a little complex and it was more of a safety issue that I wanted sole custody. Amy was very blunt with me on the odds of getting that. It allowed me to really strategize and be patient with the system. There was a little bit of a turnaround with some questions, but anything urgent... was responded to immediately. Honestly, if you call you get an immediate answer as well. I'm very pleased with her and her staff. She knows her craft and knows the reality of what you are going through. (I was even able to get sole). Very grateful! if it weren't for her being honest with me, I would have rushed the process and the outcome would not have benefited my kids. She may be more business than sugary sweet, but that's what you need in an attorney and it's obvious she cares about the best interest for you as her client.

When I reached out to Ami, I had already gone through some frustrating moments with my divorce. I tried to push to settle things out of court and even when I did, my ex-husband got my case thrown out. I left the majority of what my ex-husband and I owned with him. He wasn't seeing our daughter or ...paying any sort of support. I was tired. I was depressed. I wanted to fight for my daughter and what she needed but I was tired of fighting for myself at some points. Ami and her wonderful staff were there every step of the way. When I was nervous going into court, she was able to offer guidance and her wonderful personality made the events smooth and honestly, her presence brightened my day. Living in Jacksonville, I didn't get a chance to see her often, but we spoke on the phone quite a bit and whenever I went to ramble she reined me back in and help get me to the point. Whenever I seemed to be making a bad decision, she helped guide me to the correct one with her professional knowledge of the system. She was truly wonderful. A real force to be reckoned with! She is to the point, and I completely agree with the tough love attitude. I do not even know where to begin to thank Ami, Katie and Kelley. Ami Dilorenzo sets the bar extremely high for her staff, and does not expect less than what they are capable of. I went to Ami for my divorce. My ex-wife wanted to handle all of this ourselves, and me being the fool I followed and ag...reed. I later received a letter in the mail from HER attorney. I received this about a week before we were due for mediation. Totally not what was agreed upon, I went to Ami's firm and filled out the paper work and explained why it was short notice. Ami made it clear that she was there for me and was willing to fight for me to the very end. She is very honest and will not sugar coat anything. If you do not like the honest truth from your attorney (a mouth of a sailor), then she is not for you. She’s not afraid of calling BS on anything. Ami knows the law extremely well and has the passion and drive to represent her clients to the fullest extent. I will continue to keep in touch with Ami in case something arises in the future. I hope I will never need her help again, but if something should happen, I will be going back to my attorney Ami Dilorenzo. I would also like to thank Ami's wonderful staff. Kelley is an amazing asset to the firm, being the Office Manager she is always willing to go the extra mile to help me understand something or just to say hey you forgot to sign here. Katie is also an attorney that works with Ami and handles a lot of the paperwork/document prep at the firm. She went above and beyond on multiple occasions to make sure everything was correct, and made this process much easier than I could have expected. Thanks Ami for everything!

I was living in a different state other than Florida when my wife served me with custody papers so I did my research before retaining Attorney Ami Dilorenzo. She came highly recommended by attorneys within and outside the area she practices. I worked with Ami for a year and during that time I hav...e had several interactions with her via email and phone. Ami can come off a little abrasive at times but she does care and hold a passion for her work as a lawyer. She has immense integrity which was the ultimate factor that tipped me over to retaining her even though it seemed we clashed a bit in the beginning. During the year she represented me Ami has shown she can be swift and decisive when needed. She is very knowledgeable of Family Law in Florida and while at times I wondered what was being done my worries were put to rest time and time again with proof of the research and effort she put in on my behalf. Part of my wife's atrocious behavior eventually came to light and, due to Ami and her associates research, found a favorable resolution for my twin girls and myself where I feared just would not happen. I did get to meet Ami for the very final hearing that took place in Florida and can say she is very professional and helped to keep me calm, showing patience and understanding. If things turned out poorly for my girls and me I would be writing much the same review as I do now. I highly recommend Ami Dilorenzo to anyone who needs a knowledge lawyer in Florida Family Law. It was my privilege to retain Ami and while I am not saying everyone who decides to retain her will come out on top, I know she will fight tooth and nail for the best possible resolution for her clients. 5 Stars

Two high school sweethearts found each other again, after 50 years, both struggling in failing marriages. After 4 more years of telephone conversations, talking each other through difficult, never ending strife, we decided we needed to see each other again. There was no turning back. Enter Ami, ex...it anxiety and stress. One divorce was uncontested and went very smoothly. The other was very difficult, in that the opposing party refused to obtain representation and insisted upon representing herself. Ami navigated through those treacherous waters with skill and patience. She was always responsive to our questions and calmed our nerves on many occasions. We only ever met one other member of her staff, Kelley, who was pleasant, efficient and also very responsive. Now, happily married, we are most grateful to Ami and her staff for helping us make our dream come true ... to be together at last.
