READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THEM! I hired Stacie, an attorney from this firm and I can say that she is hands down, as bad and negligent of an attorney as can possibly exist. Everything that is wrong with family law and the process can be personified by Stacie and her way of dealing with her c...lients. Of course she was very responsive up until I paid the retainer. As soon as they had my money, the responses became much slower. Stacie always had a family issue, or some reason to cancel. Including pushing back my court dates for her own personal reasons which cost me money. I get this can happen, but it was an every week thing with Stacie. When I did catch Stacie, she was extremely rude and talks down to her clients. Beyond that, to say she is a "know it all" is such an understatement. Any time you ask her to explain the law she will act like you are a burden. And you best believe she will run that bill up in doing so. I don't know if she just recently passed the bar, but it certainly comes off that way as she will try to appear to come off as an expert and just be wrong. I hired her to handle my child support case, which was already in progress. No custody disputes.. I already have 50/50, no paternity proving, simply just getting child support right as I am still overpaying as if I have no custody at all of my son. My $5,000 retainer got me ZERO progress on the case before she used the entire retainer. When I had my $10,325 tax return wrongfully garnished I brought this to her attention and she sided with the courts who had taken my $10,325. I told her that it was not legal, and she argued with me for days on end before just ignoring me. This is where most of my retainer went. At the end of the day, she reufsed to do any work on this front and I represented myself in the matter and every person involved except for my own attorney sided with me and I got my money back. When I told her this, rather than admitting she was wrong she stated that since I did not take her advice and just surrender my $10,325 that she is withdrawing herself from the case. What a joke. All in all, my case is still active but I am represneting myself as Stacie proved that taking her advice is a good way to cost you an arm and a leg, and she frankly does not care at all about her clients. If I could give Stacie less than 1 star, I would in a heartbeat. She is proof that you can pass a bar exam and still lack a shred of decency, work ethic, or the ability to respectfully communicate with people. How Jimmie can look at this case and still employ her is beyond me. I had brought this to Jimmies attention but he simply just doesn't get back to me. Ive hounded him for his response and just gave up on hearing what he has to say. Trusting this firm, and specifically Stacie, is the biggest mistake you could possibly make. You are better off representing yourself, my case is proof.
