Very unprofessional

Do not hire this attorney. They don't return phone calls or emails. Always an excuse. Nothing gets done. Lost my money and never got results.

Beware of this so called Attorney!

Mrs. Landt does not return your phone calls, does not respond to e mails, and does not perform her contractual obligations even though she has been paid up front with a retainer. She won’t talk to you even when you go to her office. Somehow she is always at a trial. She placates you by sending a p...erson who can’t do anything to help you and who sympathizes with you but does nothing for your case. Been promised a settlement letter since December. Still nothing while going broke due to no child support Or alimony. Stressful and horrible situation. BEWARE!

Child Custody Dispute, Disposition of Marital Assets

Divorce has been finalized for 6 years. Disputes arose with child custody and marital assets that should have been settled previously. During consultation with MC Landt, she assured me she could handle this efficiently and effectively and changed me a $4000 retainer. It has now been over two years..., my child is now 19 and off at college. The custody issues were never resolved but ceased because the child became an adult. Property disputes are still ongoing and I can't even get a return phone call from her or her legal assistant. Over the course of 2 years, she has only written 3 letters, and attended 1 mediation where she appeared to be in cahoots with the opposing council. I have had NO representation, I'm out $4K and I'm no better off than I was the day I went to see her! Do yourself a favor - DON'T HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!! She is totally unorganized, never returns phone calls, make excuses for her failures and blames others. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!1

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
