Jonathan P. Culver

Very knowledgeable with current laws and what is being presented to our governor for future laws. He's answered all the questions we've had and what we've presented him with. His paralegal, Tammy, is fantastic and whenever we speak to either of them we always are satisfied with the answers we receive...! They've both gone out of their way to help us with documents needed or filled out for court. I recommend them to anyone who is need of a family lawyer.

to all who read this review, if you need an attorney for any type of litigation i recommend Jonathan Culver to be the best prepared attorney. Jonathan Culver represented very professionally in a 2012 child support custody after another local attorney withdrew on my case. my case also had a violation ...of a restraint order. the most important thing that i liked about Mr culver was that he was not intimidated by who he would be facing in court at all, whereas the attorney that withdrew from me was. my x wife's attorney was supposed to be a genius or so i heard. when i posed this question to Mr culver, he's reply was that facing attorney of any experience is not a worry or concern to him. he explained to me that when he goes in front of any judges and against any attorney that he goes well prepared and ready for the case. he told that he does that with all his cases. i was very pleased in 2012 with his representation. my son has been living with me since then. i did not have to pay for my wife's attorney fees and his cost of representation was fair. i have called on Mr culver since then a few times to ask questions and he has always returned my call and has given me good advice as well as ample time to talk. his secretary is also very professional and all the paperwork are done appropriately. Jonathan Culver won my case in 2012 with the use of two case laws which he handed to the judge and the opposing attorney. the case laws were applicable to my case. neither the judge or the opposing attorney had a problem with Mr culver on that day. i highly recommend jonathan Culver with any family issues and all of his other law knowledge. i also recommend his staff as well. just recently i called him to ask questions and he gave me his best advise over a telephone consultation. on other occasions i have visited his office for the consultations as well. great job in 2012 Mr culver ! sincerely.. Horrible. Absolutely destroyed my case. It was like he wasn't even in the courtroom with me. He did no research, had absolutely no answers to any of the questions the judge posed., and was completely unsympathetic when the judge ruled against me in a child support case that I was ready to settle in ...mediation and he convinced me to take it before the judge!!! My ex was ready to settle for $200/month and I would continue to pay for a medical expense for my child at $225/month. I wanted to accept it. Jon told me no. He said the judge would order it to be $100/month at the most!!! WRONG! Now, not only am I having to pay $400/month to her PLUS the $225/month for medical, but he figured arrears of $4500 for the 10 months from the time that the case initially started. I can't afford another attorney now because I had to borrow the $3,000 I had to pay him to get screwed over! He doesn't listen to anything you have to say and he was IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. I usually only saw him 15 minutes before each court appearance, so he knew nothing about my case because we never got to discuss anything!!!.

Jonathan explained to me very clearly where my legal stand was, and helped me understand the issues in the situation I was in. He also helped me believe, for the first time ever, that I could make my situation better, that I did not have to "live with" what life had dealt me. In front of the oppositi...on he proved a formidable wall of support. I took a leap of faith when I hired him, and haven't regretted it once.
