Came off very knowledgeable during the consult and very eager to help. Then the retainer was paid in full and everything went down hill from there. He was never available for questions, he makes decisions on your case without consulting you first, he would not respond promptly to opposing council w...hich makes his client look bad, he is very unprepared, wasted my 1 hr pre hearing consult with stuff he could have had a secretary do, he did not prepare for our hearing, failed to show very crucial evidence in court, did not question the opposing side when I told him they were lying about certain stuff (which he had proof right in front of him that I supplied) was very cocky and arrogant. All this ended up costing my two year old daughter to go for over night visitation with her Dad she had not seen in a year, that was violent, suffered mental illness and was unmedicated. Then when I confronted him about the lack of time or concern he showed for my daughter or our case he withdrew from my case, left us without a lawyer and kept the entire retainer (which he in no way, shape or form earned). Now I am left trying to fix his mistakes and seek new council. You would be better off representing yourself then hiring this attorney. Also he is never in his office. He's "out" more than in. His paralegal is nice. That's all he has going for him

Horrible. Absolutely destroyed my case. It was like he wasn't even in the courtroom with me. He did no research, had absolutely no answers to any of the questions the judge posed., and was completely unsympathetic when the judge ruled against me in a child support case that I was ready to settle in ...mediation and he convinced me to take it before the judge!!! My ex was ready to settle for $200/month and I would continue to pay for a medical expense for my child at $225/month. I wanted to accept it. Jon told me no. He said the judge would order it to be $100/month at the most!!! WRONG! Now, not only am I having to pay $400/month to her PLUS the $225/month for medical, but he figured arrears of $4500 for the 10 months from the time that the case initially started. I can't afford another attorney now because I had to borrow the $3,000 I had to pay him to get screwed over! He doesn't listen to anything you have to say and he was IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. I usually only saw him 15 minutes before each court appearance, so he knew nothing about my case because we never got to discuss anything!!!.

Jonathan explained to me very clearly where my legal stand was, and helped me understand the issues in the situation I was in. He also helped me believe, for the first time ever, that I could make my situation better, that I did not have to "live with" what life had dealt me. In front of the oppositi...on he proved a formidable wall of support. I took a leap of faith when I hired him, and haven't regretted it once.
