Carolyn Suzanne Smith

Carolyn S. Smith, Esq., has been licensed to practice law since 2002. Her practice began in Chicago where she worked on Qui Tam cases and then transitioned to a firm that handled insurance defense cases for a local insurance company. She then pivoted and joined the United States Secret Service as a Special Agent, where she met her husband and started a family. She took time off to raise her children and decided to return to the practice of law when she moved to FL. She passed the Florida bar exam in February 2023 and has been working at Ledbetter Law Group as an attorney ever since.
Mrs. Smith is a very kind, fair and empathetic attorney. Her goal is to help her clients meet their goals as quickly and efficiently as possible.
When not working, Mrs. Smith loves to spend her time with her husband and two teenage daughters. Any extra time is devoted to figuring out how she can rescue more abused and neglected dogs, as dogs have been her passion from a young age.
