VICP Settlement

Anne Toale represented my son in a case filed under the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), resulting from a Vaccine injury. She was extremely knowledgeable on the intricacies associated with the VICP program, in navigating through the entire government process, and in the requirements for ac...hieving an equitable settlement. Anne provided sound advice throughout, and was especially insightful / helpful during the mediation process utilized to settle this case. Anne is a consummate professional who takes a proprietary interest in her work. She possesses excellent communication skills and strong goal orientation. She places her clients first. Anne and her firm are highly recommended.

NVICP Case Review

Anne Toale is one of a handful of lawyers who work on National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program cases. My previous lawyer told me "I had a snowball's chance in Hell" of winning my case. Anne took my case & won it! I am a R.N. who developed an autoimmune disease after taking the Hepatitis B vaccine.... She walked me through every step of the process - from pretrial motions and prep, to the actual trial, and the long evaluation process to determine compensation. She was always available (mostly thru emails) to answer my endless questions about this process! Having an experienced lawyer like her made all the difference! I believe she won my case for me and thru her diligence I received a great compensation package. I would highly recommend her!

A pro-active, determined and successful advocate

Anne Toale represented me in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, working tirelessly to assure that I received fair and reasonable compensation for the devastating illness and injury I incurred as a result of a routine vaccination. Anne was patient and helpful in working with me to ga...ther required documents and then representing me accordingly. Most importantly she is kind, to-the-point, and an expert in handling vaccine litigation cases. Not only did she promptly return all calls and e-mails, her staff was also very efficient, caring and responsive. Without Anne's guidance and outstanding skills, I would not have been able to navigate the Compensation Fund's requirements. I have the highest regard for Anne Toale, her law firm and staff, thus highly recommend her.

A review of services by Anne C. Toale related to the VICP

In September 2008 I was injured after receiving a vaccine in preparation for work as an RN case manager at a high risk hospital in a large metropolitan area. Initially I consulted with a local attorney who had no experience with the Health & Human Services (HHS) Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (...VICP) and soon realized my mistake. I was impressed with the web site for the Law Firm of Maglio Christopher & Toale and their focus on product liability, and specifically, Anne Toale's "day in, day out" experience dealing with the HHS and vaccine injuries. The firm accepted my case and after the substitution in, Anne flew out to meet me, evaluated my injuries, developed and explained her strategy. A major complaint I had with my previous attorney was lack of communication; I would wait several days to hear back from him if I called, and when he did call he often didn't have an answer for me. I was concerned about communication because I lived across the country. But every time I called or emailed Anne I received a punctual response by either her or a paralegal. She worked hard to represent me and the award I received met my expectations. Vaccine injuries and petitioning HHS require special legal expertise. I always felt I was in good hands working with Anne Toale. She was always patient but realistic with me. I have referred someone else injured by a vaccine to her and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else with similar circumstances.

Vaccine Injured Nurse

Both attorney and client were knowledgeable about the limitations of the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program designed to protect industry from litigation from their dangerous products. The attorney frankly revealed that other litigants who had temporary and less severe injury were initially offered h...igher compensation from the DOJ whereas I who sustained apparent permanent severe peripheral nerve damage had to reject 3 offers to reach the same monetary settlement. It is within the realm of possibility that I might have received higher compensation had I persevered and rejected a settlement, as encouraged, but the NVICP is not known for their generosity and I did not want to inconvenience my Medical Experts, to whom I am also grateful, by requiring them to suspend their thriving practices to provide testimony out of state.
