Mr. Casella helped me navigate my way through a car accident and worked very hard to get me my settlement. I was very satisfied with his legal skills and he was always available to answer any questions I had. I recommend him highly.
After suffering serious head injuries in a motor vehicle crash caused by manufacturer defects in the vehicle I was overwhelmed with all the medical bills and completely lost in how to pursue action against a major auto maker. After my first meeting with John, I felt completely at ease. John assisted me with my auto insurance carrier and ensured my medical bills were taken care of through them and that I got maximum benefits. I had previously had no progress trying to do this on my own. In the end, I also won a sizeable settlement from the auto maker for the defects that caused my injuries. Insurance companies and large businesses just seem to ignore everyday people. They didn't ignore John because they know that unlike most attorneys, John will take them to trial and fight for his clients. I feel now as I did then, that I was very lucky to have chosen John as my attorney and I highly recommend him.
John Casella earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New College of Florida in 1980 (the Honors College of the State University System of Florida) and his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1982. Attorney Casella is past chairman of the Grievance Committee of the 12th Judicial Circuit, has served on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota County Bar Association, and was a member of the Venice Code Enforcement Board. He has been appointed to and is currently serving on the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court’s inaugural Local Professionalism Panel. He has practiced in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims for the past 30 years and has successfully tried personal injury cases and negotiated settlements for injured persons in the Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee County areas.
