There are no better HOA Attorneys anywhere!

There are no better HOA Attorneys anywhere! I can easily state that as a fact from my personal experience working with Cindy and her team. One as a working professional as a former Director of Marketing for a Law Firm, I had the opportunity to interact with dozens of lawyers. There are countl...ess attorneys who simply move through the motions but do not really efficiently and directly solve problems. Two because I have hired Cindy Hill on a number of occasions, without fail, she listens, offers the most expedient of solutions, then, follows up on her word. After repeated requests to the Board for direction on the damage caused by their vendor when the company tore up my flower bed bed when repairing a pavement. Finally, after no action was taking for months, at my expense, I hired a professional vendor to repair "their" damage. One would have thought that would have taken care of the problem. In a stunning show of HOA petulance the Board-of-Directors fined me a $1,000 rather than to take responsibility for the lack of response on their behalf. Rather than listen to the facts (as unfortunately so many HOA Boards and Property Managers do NOT do) they claimed the "repair/replacement" was not approved (this in spite of the fact multiple forms and requests had been submitted over months with absolutely no action taken by the Board). As crazy as that sounds I am certain there are many others who have dealt with the blind and stubborn actions of HOA Boards of Directors. They have access to a large line item for legal fees so often will litigate a homeowner into submission (whether they are on justified grounds or not). This is where a competent and caring HOA attorney can make a genuine difference in your life, I love my home and did not want to sell but I had to seriously consider the option since the HOA continued with their harassment. Well, continued, until up to the point, a very direct letter was sent making it clear THEIR responsibilities and obligations. In fact it was made crystal clear that the HOA and Property Management Company were in violation given their history of harassment and selective enforcement. It was also made clear given my efforts, their lack of response and then their forced judgment to fine me that they would be held liable by most any judge for costs, legal fees and potential punitive damages. As a side note one of the reasons Cindy is so effective is her training at Oxford University, she is a master with the written word. Her letters make it clear what the problem is and what the solution should be. I am a huge fan of Cindy Hill's expertise and wanted to share with others how effective she is at solving problems.

Hoa trying to use there power to do what they want even if it is illegal things and harass.

I had an issue we’re an hoa community was trying to use there power and this lawyer was great. It was brief only one letter written because that’s how good the letter was written and everything was resolved. The letter she wrote was so strong and so to the point and really legally stood up for wha...t was right. Sometimes an hoa needs to be explained with a lawyer. When you have tried going to a meeting to explain and the hoa board members still want to enforce there rules on you it is silly because the hoa wastes everyone’s money that is paid into and hoa by just hiring lawyers to go against you. When if they would have had the consultation to listen to your side it should have been clear that they were wrong and instead they kept trying to fight like they were right. And In the end it costed all owners who pay into the hoa money contributed to lawyer fees instead of other things that the community needs. I defiantly would use this lawyer again.

Needed help against my HOA

I had called around to several law firms in the area. The law firms I contacted told me to call Cindy Hill. I was so glad they did. From the first contact with Cindy, I felt she was the perfect fit for me. Personal character means alot to me. Cindy was easy to talk to and I could tell she took h...er clients seriously. I also LOVED how on top of being a very successful business woman, I could tell he was an amazing mother. I ended up hiring Cindy and she seemed to be able to out perform the other attorney associated with the case. Hopefully I never need her services again but if I should need an attorney, I will certainly contact Cindy.

Experience Matters!

I needed help concerning a HOA matter and Cindy jumped to the challenge. She is straight forward and quickly realized she really knows her business. Experience matters a lot when hiring an attorney! I finished my first appointment knowing that I had a professional "get it done" attorney on my side.
