Lori was hired to represent a matter involving the distribution of a trust. The marital trust provided income for life to a surving spouse, a second spouse, and at her death, the trust was to distribute to a number of charities. The spouse was not granted any power of appointment over the trust; ho...wever she attempted to exercise such a power of appointment through her will.
