Personal Experience
Yohan A. Zingile is originally from the Caribbean Island of Guadeloupe. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French and Creole. His multilingual ability enables him to efficiently serve clients from diverse background. Yohan has personal experience with U.S. immigration law after coming to the United States as an international student from Guadeloupe. He himself went through the immigration processes and is very well positioned to understand the challenges immigrants are confronted to. Being an immigrant himself, Yohan developed a deep understanding of the complexity of immigration situations and knows about the frustrations, fears and anxiety that the immigration processes cause. Yohan has been helping the immigrant communities since being a student. He has volunteered as an interpreter to assist refugee families in their procedure before social services and help them adapt to their new life in the United States.
Previous Experience
Yohan has strong work background which provides him a good understanding of complex immigration cases. Before joining CFUIS, Yohan worked as an intern in the immigration group of two prestigious law firms Higgs Fletcher & Mack and Feldman Feldman & Associates PC in San Diego, CA. He also worked as an extern at the U.S. District Court of the Ninth Circuit under the supervision of a well-respected Judge.
Education and Membership
Yohan obtained his Doctor of Law degree from the James E. Rogers College of Law (University of Arizona), and a Master’s degree in Litigation Law from the University of Antilles in Guadeloupe. Yohan is licensed in Arizona and admitted to the Arizona State Supreme Court. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
