Thomas W. Goldman, J.D., LL.M.
Tom Goldman has taught and practiced law for over 44 years. A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a B.A. degree in political science, he followed in his family’s footsteps by attending the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as President of the International Law Society.
He practiced law in Meridian, Mississippi and in 1973 graduated from New York University School of Law with a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.). Mr. Goldman then began of career as a law professor at the University of Tulsa Law School (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Teaching Fellow at Southern Methodist School of Law (Dallas, Texas) and Associate Dean of Mississippi School of Law (Jackson, Mississippi). He has also taught as an adjunct professor at Barry Law School (Orlando, Florida), Florida Institute of Technology in Orlando (Titusville, Florida), Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida), and Regent University (Virginia Beach, Virginia).
Mr. Goldman is former Legal Director, Financial Planning for the Christian Broadcasting Network, and former CEO of the Scottish Rite Foundation of Florida. He held a Series 7 securities license and worked as a District Manager for a publicly-traded financial company.
He is a member of the National Immigration Project, State Bars of Mississippi and Virginia, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and Mississippi Supreme Court. Mr. Goldman is a Distinguished Fellow of the Royal Society of Fellows. He appears frequently in immigration court, and has represented clients in deportation proceedings in Orlando, Miami, San Juan, San Antonio and Detroit.
Goldman and his wife Jody are avid sailors. They are members of the Manatee Sailing Association and Bradenton Yacht Club and frequently participate in events with their Catalina 30 named “Asylum”.
