Daphane Clements-Stevens `

On July 22, 2008, I hired Daphne Clements for a civil case. We had a contract and I paid her a retainer of $3000,00. On July 23, 2008 she deposited the check. This was the last time I heard from her. She took my $3000.00 retainer and never performed and services for me. So not only was I out the... $3000.00 retainer, but I had to hire a new attorney. To this day this money has never been returned. I hope she does not do this to anyone else. I did not forget the rating, she receives zero stars from me, but i had to at least mark one star. When I checked into this matter with the State, they said she had been suspended and I would have to file a law suit to recover my retainer that was paid and no services given.
