Biography
Harris B. Katz is a partner with Goede, Adamczyk & DeBoest whose practice has emphasized high exposure cases, including construction defect litigation and complex commercial litigation matters throughout Florida. In addition, he has handled a wide range of cases, including environmental liability, mold exposure, architect/engineer errors and omissions, personal injury, consumer product liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises liability and general commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Goede, Adamczyk & DeBoest, Harris worked for several statewide law firms as a trial attorney. Harris is a 1989 graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history. He obtained his juris doctor in 1993 from the University of Miami School of Law. Harris is ranked as a preeminent attorney in the legal community, achieving AV-Rated status by Martindale Hubble, a nationally recognized attorney rating service.
Harris also has an extensive background in business development. At a Silicon Valley engineering company, he was responsible for creating and nurturing business relationships with a variety of technology firms, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, as well as with private and governmental research facilities. This additional experience has proven invaluable to his representation of companies throughout Florida.
