Samantha H. Gregory is currently an Associate Attorney at Long & Alguadich, PLLC. Samantha received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida in 2007. Samantha went on to obtain her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2010 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year. Samantha immediately began working as an Assistant State Attorney for the Tenth Judicial Circuit, where she prosecuted various crimes from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. Samantha tried over 30 jury trials in the 3 years she was an Assistant State Attorney, and thereafter she decided to use her litigation experience to advocate on behalf of abused, abandoned and neglected children. Samantha began working as Senior Attorney for Children’s Legal Services in 2014, where she was charged with the immense but extremely rewarding responsibility of litigating child abuse, abandonment and neglect cases on behalf of the State of Florida and Department of Children and Families. Most recently Samantha worked as an Associate Attorney for the Law Firm of Long, Murphy & Long, P.A., where she expanded her practice to include marital and family law matters, including but not limited to uncontested and contested dissolution of marriage proceedings, paternity actions, supplemental modification proceedings and adoptions.
Samantha believes that her role as “counselor-at-law” is just as important as her role as attorney-at-law. Samantha understands that her clients are typically dealing with one of the most overwhelming and trying times of their life, and she works hard to support her clients both legally and emotionally. Samantha, as well as the other attorneys at Long & Alguadich, PLLC, focuses on helping her clients confront personal difficulties they find themselves in while successfully navigating them through the legal proceedings of divorce, custody or paternity proceedings. Using her extensive litigation experience, professionalism and integrity, Samantha strives to ensure that her clients’ divorce or other marital and family law matter is as emotionally painless as possible. The well-being of children is a particular area of care and concern for Samantha, and her experience prosecuting crimes and advocating for children has led her to commit herself to putting the best interests and well-being of children at the forefront of her private practice.
Samantha grew up in Chelsea, Michigan. After graduating high school, she attended Western Michigan University for one year before deciding to move to Florida.. After obtaining two degrees from the University of Florida, she is proud to say she is a Gator and bleeds Orange and Blue. Samantha married her Husband, Allan (also a Gator), in 2013. She enjoys watching UF football, hockey, going to the beach and spending time with her Husband.
