Edward Michael Livingston

I wish i could give this lawyer 0 stars!! I hired Ed Livingston in my time of need, to help me protect my family business from Trademark Infringement. Mr. Livingston took my money and started my case. He was very slow to do anything ever, and almost never returns any messages. Mr. Livingston filed ...the complaint for my lawsuit, but the court refused it calling it a "shotgun filing" lacking necessary facts and details. The court warned him of COMPLACENCY to shotgun filings, and instructed him to rewrite our complaint for our lawsuit, or have our case dismissed. This lawyer Mr. Livingston is pretending he never received the email from the court, the email that was ELECTRONICALLY GENERATED AND SENT by the court! He got my case dismissed. For 3 months he stalled, and kept saying he would refile our complaint, but he never would do it. I eventually retained another attorney because Mr. Livingston was not being honest, and sharing all of my options with me. I paid him to file a lawsuit, and get my case before a judge, He did not do that. Mr livingston has also refused to refund my money, lots of money! He got paid to do his job, but simply refuses to do his job sadly, and refuses to refund my money. Nobody would ever hire an attorney to do clerical paperwork and case prep work, at $500 an hour, knowing they had no intention of actually following through and being thorough and getting your case to court. NO, i paid him to get my case before a judge, not to just act busy!! I would never ever refer Mr. Livingston's law firm, or any of his associates to anyone! Be careful before you hire a lawyer to help you. The law is set up to protect these attorneys, not you and I the consumer. I really rate Ed Livingston and his firm 0 stars!!
