Mr. Thompson’s nation-wide practice focuses on matters involving a wide range of real estate legal services. This includes extensive experience in commercial and high-end residential transactions and development (including malls, office buildings, shopping centers, and resort projects), title insurance, sales, purchases, land use and development; condominiums, associations, entity formation, lending transactions, title services, leases, zoning and land use, business sales and acquisitions, assets sales and acquisitions (including gas stations, fuel terminals, wind farm energy projects, transportation and delivery systems), loan workouts, foreclosures, evictions, land and contract disputes, related litigation and litigation management, oil, gas and mineral interest title examination. His clients have included national and local developers, retail and office landlords and tenants, builders, banks, title companies, governmental agencies, and select individuals.

Mr. Thompson has supervised teams of attorneys on complex real estate transactions, land use, and litigation matters. He guided and lead a legal team in the privatization of the transportation system of a large southeastern metropolitan area, which included public transportation facilities, fuel terminals, buses, water-taxis, union and labor/employment issues.
