I would not use this Attoney. It’s been over 5 years in a custody case and many dropped balls causing many years in court, lots of money , paperwork not turned in on time , had to pay the other parties attorney and now that only need to modify the child support after getting the custody done now she ...wants to withdraw. Does not care about the client

I hired Melissa for a divorce case and was extremely disappointed with her lack of response. each time there was a different excuse as to why I didn’t get a response. finally had to find a new attorney and cut my losses. She won’t even give me my money back from the retainer which she definitively... didn’t put in any time to earn it. Take my advice and don’t hire her.

I was previosuly with another attourney that was giving me wrong advice and not doing much. I reached out to MRS. Barris and she was very honest and professional from the begenning. She is defintely there for her clients and shows that she cares and wants the best for them. She made me feel confident... going into hearings and made it less stressful. If there was a 10 star i would of put that, she has been a blessing to me and my family and always answers back in a timly manner with questions or concerns you may have. Defiently give her a chance to represent you she is well worth it and the result show.
