Garrett Wade McIntyre

Garrett McIntyre is an experienced business, real estate, insurance, and litigation attorney. His areas of concentration include business formations, business acquisitions, property insurance litigation, commercial and business litigation, real estate litigation, real estate and corporate transactional law, and construction law. He has also practiced in the areas of general liability defense, premises liability, vehicle negligence, commercial trucking accident defense, wrongful death, issues of coverage, and first and third party casualty losses. Garrett is the managing partner and founder of McIntyre & Bermudez, PLLC. In addition to his admission to the Florida Bar, McIntyre is admitted to practice before the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is also an active member of the Calusa Chapter of the American Inns of Court

Garrett earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Bryan College in 2010, followed by earning his Juris Doctorate Degree from Ave Maria Schools of Law, in Naples, FL in 2013. After passing the Florida Bar exam, Garrett worked a civil litigation attorney in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he tried dozens of cases and helped hundreds of clients with their business and personal legal needs.

Just a few years later Garrett moved back to the Fort Myers area and joined a multi-attorney practice that focused on business, real estate, insurance, and commercial litigation. During his years of practice Garrett has earned a reputation amongst his clients for providing attentive, dedicated, and innovative approaches to resolving their needs. He believes that providing prompt solutions and direct access to his clients is critical. Whether its assisting clients form a new business, negotiating and litigating insurance claims with large insurance carriers, selling their property, or litigating complex disputes, he is persistent and unwavering in seeking justice for his clients.

In addition to his service to our community as an attorney and litigator, Garrett also serves a chairperson for We Care Ministries, a not-for-profit that helps provide low-cost counseling to those in need, and the chairman of a management board for his local Church. In his time away from the firm, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife and two golden-doodles, as well as traveling. He also enjoys watching his favorite college football team and exploring new shows on Netflix.
