Amy Meghan Neaher was raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Awarded full academic scholarships, she attended Shippensburg University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in 1992 with a major in government and a minor in sociology in three years. Amy subsequently received her law degree from the District of Columbia School of Law, Washington D.C. in 1996.
After graduation from law school, Amy worked as an international contracts representative for Northrop Grumman. Upon relocation to Florida, she was employed as District Counsel for the Department of Children and Families handling child abuse/neglect cases from inception to the appellate level. Entering private practice, Amy worked for several distinguished law firms gaining a wide range of litigation experience before opening her own practice in 2006.
Amy is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her practice is not limited to just Lee County, but stretches across the entire state of Florida. Her goal is to make sure every client has a personable experience and they walk away with a thorough understanding of their legal matter and the work that was completed on their behalf. Amy is looking for long term legal relationships with her clients. She is passionate about advocacy for children with special needs and assisting their families as those children transition into adulthood.
Amy has been married to her high school sweetheart, John for 30 year. She has a daughter, Delaney and two sons Jackson and Bentley. When she isn't working, she enjoys traveling or hanging out with her many flowers and plants with her Yorkipoo and Shih Tzu.
