I hired Paul Wyatt for bankruptcy. I informed him early-on that my father may die soon and that I would likely receive an inheritance. He did not indicate this was a problem and took my money and we continued to discuss the bankruptcy. I found out from a different attorney that there is a look-back i...n bankruptcy, and I could still be liable for the full amounts owed to the creditors. I informed Mr. Wyatt of this, and he agreed that bankruptcy was not an option, but he still kept my retainer.
