Miesha Hewitt founded Hewitt Law to concentrate her practice on transactional Business and Real Estate law and provide a specialty focus on Adoption Law. As a life-long resident of Southwest Florida, Miesha seeks to support our local economy by providing legal counsel for entrepreneurs starting their business ventures and assist existing business owners navigate the complexities of the Florida Business laws. Miesha also has a passion for helping children and families formalize their family status through the legal adoption process.
Prior to founding Hewitt Law, Miesha worked for a business litigation firm assisting clients through all stages of the litigation process. Miesha also worked as a law clerk at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida working for both the Honorable John E. Steele and the Honorable Sheri Polster Chappell. Miesha’s experience clerking in federal court has given her invaluable insight on federal practice, procedure, and litigation which provides an excellent basis for Miesha to serve as Local Counsel for out-of-state firms litigating in the Middle District of Florida.
