Chris Roy is an awesome very personable attorney. He is the kind of guy who does not speak unless he has something to say and did a wonderful job on my case. Thank you very much Chris I appreciate your efforts and all your hard work. I would refer Chris Roy to anyone in need of legal services.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN ATTORNEY THAT WILL FIGHT FOR YOU HE IS NOT THE GUY. HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR CASE AND GOES FOR WHATEVER THE PROSECUTOR SAYS. ALL HE DOES IS SHAKES AND SHOWS THAT HE IS AFRAID OF THE PROSECUTOR. TOLD ME I WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LOSING MY LICENSE THEN TOLD ME HE WOULD TRY AND GET ME HARDSHIP ONCE I ALREADY SINGED THE PLEA DEAL. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND ALSO WHEN I TRIED TO GO AND SEE HIM HIS ASSISTANT LIED TO ME AND TOLD ME HE WASNT THERE WHEN I WAS THERE TO MAKE A PAYMENT THEN HE SAID WALKS OUT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A ATTORNEY TO FIGHT FOR YOU HE IS NOT THE ATTORNEY YOU NEED. YOU ARE BETTER OFF GETTING A PUBLIC DEFENDER FOR FREE.
Christopher is a Winter Haven native. He graduated from Winter Haven High School, the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern Law School. A seasoned litigator, Christopher has handled hundreds of cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies, and from simple uncontested divorces to complex intensly disputed custody litigation. Christopher’s knowledge of law combine with his deep roots in Polk County make him an powerful asset by your side.

Worst divorce lawyer
I have been so disappointed with Chris Roy. He doesn’t fight for his clients. He’s just agrees with opposing party. Also then he abandons his clients before the case is over. I had to hire an excellent lawyer to clean up his mess.

Worst. Lawyer. Ever.
If I could rate him 0 stars I would give him -5. He did absolutely nothing for our case and appeared to be intimidated by the opposing counsel and presiding judge, visibly shaking and nervous like a 1st year lawyer/intern prior to entering the courtroom. He basically handed our entire case over to opposing counsel, dropping the ball on several important motions, waiting several months to even enter any orders, including the order that mattered most. Waited 8 months to inform us that certain records were unavailable to us after he ensured us that he would be able to obtain them. And after I informed him that he was no longer our attorney in our case, he waited over 2 months to officially enter the motion to withdraw counsel. How is this guy even allowed to "practice" law? He's an absolute joke and should only be considered for hire if you want to lose your case.
