A Genuine and Caring Individual

I was paying monthly for life insurance over 10 years for my mother. Due to prolonged heart failure and her age, she passed away last year and now rest in peace. I called the insurance company to place my claim, and they gave me many roundabouts. It finally came down to them sending me a letter stati...ng that I cannot receive any claim as I had missed some payments. I had indeed missed approximately six months of payments. I had spoken to a representative that stated if I wrote them a check for all six months that was missed, I would then be reinstated and be eligible to claim later. That was about two years ago, when I had consider dropping the life insurance. I realized I had put a lot of money into it, so I wrote them a check and was reinstated, and I picked up my monthly payment from where I had left off. All was well and I continued my monthly payment. When I called and tried to talk to a manager, I was then told that all criteria was not met. I met with Mr. Steven Brown and explain all the details and my concerns. He was so pleasant and took the necessary time to listen to everything I had to say. His team/staff is excellent and very effective. Along with himself, his staff is highly knowledgeable as well. Not knowing anything about these laws, I had felt stranded. Meeting with Mr. Brown and his staff, I immediately felt relief. His years of experience with clients shows in his genuine efforts to help me in this case. He has a wonderful personality not of a lawyer, but as a friend. He is dedicated to helping his client find peace, rather than for the money, and it truly shows. He definitely knows how to get the job done. In one week after speaking to him, I got a call from his office. He stated my issues was resolved, and they will take care of my claim. I was amazed at the efficiency of his work.

A friend for life

I was referred to Steve Brown, PI attorney, by my family law firm after a slip and fall accident involving multiple fractures requiring multiple surgeries. The incident happened on the premises of a not for profit organization making my decision to proceed with a law suit difficult. There were additi...onal medical issues that made my case very complex, but Steve's considerable medical knowledge and tenacious research brought my case to a settlement $100K more than the insurance company originally offered. In addition to reaching a fair settlement, I've made a good friend. Steve is not only an exceptionally astute lawyer, he is kind, friendly and caring with a wonderful sense of humor. His staff treated me like family and every request was met with a smile and results. My thanks to all.

Throw out your preconceived notions about Lawyers...

Lets face it, some individuals have a poor perception of Lawyers. As a child I was always told to never sue people (its not kind) and definitely to never trust a lawyer (they will swindle you). I am pleased to share that Steven C. Brown is one lawyer you can trust. At 23, I was employed in the Te...ch industry, recently purchased a new home and was pretty into the triathlon scene. But that all changed when I was in a car accident on my way home from work. That event literally turned my life upside down. On long term disability and unsure of the future, a friend recommend Steve to my family (I was in a medically induced coma) Steve dropped his Christmas travel plans and drove over an hour to meet with my distraught parents. He consoled them, explained their options and was on his way. After waking up and being discharged, my parents told me about Steve and I immediately said "NO!" (Little did I know the amount of medical bills coming my way) Steve sent over one of his staff to talk to me about proceeding and he calmly explained the whole legal process to me. I agreed to meet with Steve in person and we started on uncharted territory for my entire family. So now you're wondering, how long does a typical case take? Steve is different because he takes his time in each of the legal phases to acquire the best experts. In a few months I had several tire experts and enough data to read and keep busy as I recovered at home. I wanted to be really involved with the data collection and I was happy Steve was so transparent. After 4 months, I returned to work and proceeded with life as the case moved in the background. Steve and I would exchange calls every few months to say "What's Up?!?" I eventually moved to DC for an assignment. It was 4 years later that I flew down to FL and settled my case with the defendants. Steve always had a plan and I am grateful for the experience, even though it originated with a terrible accident.

Awesome, simply awesome.

In 2008 a driver made a left turn into me and my motorcycle in Winter Haven, Florida. After wasting nearly 6 months with an attorney from Winter Haven, I was forced to find another attorney. Fortunately, I was referred to Steve Brown. Steve is a very nice, very down to earth, no nonsense type of law...yer. I explained my situation to him, he felt that we could settle this issue quickly and effectively and then he proceeded to do exactly that. Within another 6 months or so, my cases were settled, I was eventually able to get the necessary surgeries and I have been referring Steve ever since!
