Peter W. van den Boom

I initially went to see Mr. van den Boom for legal advice regarding a relative who fell while under the care of a rehab center. He was very helpful gave advice and said to call back if I was not happy with the outcome. The relative died a few weeks after the fall and I called him back for legal ...advice. It now was a wrongful death in my eyes. He agreed and we pursued with my request. During the whole time his office was very kind and told me to call anytime I had questions. Mr. Van den Boom represented me in a non compete employer contract case. My formal employer attempted to prevent me from seeking employment at a new firm. Their contract essentially held me hostage and they were not willing to discuss the contract prior to my departure. Upon my resignation they imme...diately filed suit against me. I retained a nationwide law firm that specialized in labor law who completely mishandled my case. That firm was not able to make any progress and only offered high priced monthly legal bills.
