Straight shooter

I will start by saying that I did not hire Mr. Kaylor. I called inquiring about a consultation and after I explained what I wanted to try to do with my case he shot from the hip and told me that it would not be possible and that he "doesn't want to take my money." So although my interaction was brief..., I was left with the impression Mr. Kaylor is honest, knowledgeable, and has integrity.

This guy knows his way around a courtroom. I had a battery case where the witnesses against me were all liars. Matt Kaylor calmly dissected each of their stories and proved they lying. The jury came back with NOT GUILTY in just 10 minutes. I will never be in trouble again but if I do or if I know... someone who is in trouble I will refer them to Matt.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. Matthew is an excellent defense attorney. He was opposing counsel in many of my criminal cases during my days as a prosecutor. He always knew his cases well, and he always found good defenses for his clients. Anyone that makes the good decision of hiring Matthew for their crimin cases should rest assured that they will be taken care."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
